“It was a pleasure to attend the ValeFest Winterval Jazz Parade and Hootenanny! The school children with their larger than life-sized puppets literally stopped the marketplace and had everyone reaching for their camera phones.
“As for the Hootenanny, to have one of the UK 's premier Kinks tribute bands seamlessly followed by a traditional Morris performance might be thought a stretch too far. But it worked and worked well. The audience supported every act and the climax, traditional African drumming performed by children from a local school, was supported enthusiastically by the whole crowd.
“Everyone involved deserves to be so proud. Truly an example to us all. Simply wonderful.”
Paul Hughes, Bristol
